This is a 7 quart pressure canner, that was likely manufactured in the mid 1950s. The design requires no gaskets to maintain a seal. It is a thick walled cast aluminum canner. I tested it, and it works as it should. The pressure gauge and vent valve function properly. It builds and holds pressure. It is missing a rack that holds the jars above the bottom of the canner. All American still makes pressure cookers, and parts are available.
