Do you have experience in nursing and want to work for a company th actively impacts the lives of those it serves? In the role of Director of Nursing, improve and sustain the superior performance of the facility as evidenced by quality outcomes and financial returns. 

• Plan and organize the daily functions of the facility. 
• Available 24/7 by phone, unless another qualified RN has been scheduled to be available. 
• Manage financial responsibility within budgetary guidelines. 
• Complete pre‐admission resident evaluions their current place of care. 
• Participe in the development and upding of the interdisciplinary plan of care. 
• Ensure compliance with all regulory guidelines, licensing requirements, and all company policies and procedures. 
• Responsible for hiring, training, evaluing, providing corrective action, and termining staff. 
• Maintain staffing levels within regulions and budgetary guidelines. 
• Knowledge of case management to include: 
• Admission process and resident business files.
• Resident funding 
• Additional funding resources.
• Discharge planning 
• Interdisciplinary team conferences.
• Ensure th all Safety Policies and Procedures are followed all times, including timely completion and submission of all incident and accident reports. 
• Ultimely responsible for assuring th all resident and staff records are kept complete, organized, and confidential. Initie and manage emergency procedures. 
• Manage Licensed Independent Practitioners (LIP), Independent Contractors, and vendor services. 
• Manage the Performance Improvement Program. 
• Provide and manage Continuing Educion Program. 
• Perform other reled duties and activities as required by VP of Operions. 
• Lead and manage all operions of the facility. 

Qualificions:

• Preferably three years of experience working with medically complex individuals. 
• Preferably one year of experience in a leadership/management role. 
• Current ste RN license. 
• Strong tention to detail, organizional skills, and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines. 
• Effective communicion skills to manage relionships. 
• Self-motived and collaborive; a team player. 

Physical Requirements:

Heavy Work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
