All my barn wood furniture is rough sanded to get the splinters and hairs out but is unfinished.

This is a very tall King sized headboard. Made from recycled pine framing and pine fence boards. This is heavy and will require two people to handle it. It probably weighs estimated 120 lbs. The size predicts you'll have to have a pickup to carry this headboard. It is flat on the back so you can screw it to the wall. If you have drawer boxes, you can screw it to them. It's tall enough to watch vids on the screen leaning back on some pillows. Dimensions are: 72" high overall x 84" wide overall. The plywood stretcher on the bottom is to mount the bed rails to if you aren't doing drawer boxes as a platform (not included but I can build them for a fee). From the floor the plywood is 6" to the bottom and 15.5 " to the top. The bottom of the bed back is 23" high off the floor. So even with a thick mattress and box springs on bed rails, most of the old wood will show and not be covered up with pillows. All joints are glued and doweled.
