This listing is for Army surplus that has been in my family for years. I believe it was acquired during WWII and Korea conflict. The mess kit has stamped on it - US RIA 1918. The canteen has stamped on the bottom "Japan." The mess kit's carry is in excellent untorn condition with the leather strap and bucket still good working condition. The canteen's cover is also in very good untorn condition, both inside and out, with both snaps still fully functional.
