This was my Grandmother's baby doll, circa 1920's; in the 1960's she had a new body placed on the original head which is stamped with markings I cannot read (German I believe). Clothing (6 pieces) was made for the doll at that same time consisting of pantaloons, petticoat, dress & bonnet (all of linen with lace trim), and two hand crocheted booties. Hair may or may not be original. Eyes open & close when changing doll's position. Doll is 15" long, jointed & weighs 2 pounds.
