This is a beautiful vintage gold-tone mesh bracelet, likely dating to the 1940s, featuring a vibrant oval faceted purple stone set in a Deco-style centerpiece.
The stone appears to be natural, but I am not an expert. It has not been professionally tested.
The stone is approximately 1/4" wide x 9/16 lengthwise.
The bracelet measures approximately 7 inches in length and fastens with a fold-over clasp and an attached safety chain with spring ring.
The piece is unmarked and presumed to be base metal with gold-tone plating.
Condition is very good for its age, with only light wear. A beautiful piece for any collector of vintage jewelry or Art Deco–inspired designs.
Whether natural amethyst or glass, the stone contributes to the bracelet’s value as a well-made and collectible vintage piece.
